This lovely little restaurant is the kind of place where the locals go for excellent regional food.
They say that food defines a culture, so if you want to know about the people of Yucatan you must try their authentic dishes.
This isn’t Mexican, but Mayan, so be prepared to not recognize the menu, but wade in, its worth it.
Pok chuk and Pibil are highly recommended. Don’t forget the agua frescas.
The daily lunch specials are worth planning your week around. Delicious Yucatan style food.
Enjoy your meal under their palapa surrounded by green plants.
The prices were very reasonable too.
You do need to go in the daytime, they close at about 5.
